You deserve thorough, personalized advice without conflicts of interest from your financial planner. That is what we deliver.

Hourly-based financial planning means objective advice that’s independent of where your assets are held.

There are no commissions to be made and no ongoing percentage fees charged against your wealth. You simply pay for our time and expertise.
There is no minimum amount of wealth required to work with us, and unlike the industry standard, we charge based on the amount of work that we do, not how much wealth you have.

We show you everything you need to do, how and where to do it, and we see you through the entire implementation process.

Sometimes this means a big picture analysis to organize a client’s entire financial life. Other times it’s topic-specific, like helping a young family establish a college savings plan or navigate employee benefits at a new company.

No matter your situation, we’re here to help.

STEP 1:

Let's Chat

An introductory conversation gives us the chance to discuss what you’re looking for and determine if and how we can help. It’s free, it’s easy and it can demystify a great deal of the financial planning process.

STEP 2:

The Proposal

If we agree to work together, we’ll provide you a proposal that outlines the scope of work to be completed and its cost.

STEP 3:

Gathering Facts and Figures

We’ll work with you to gather all the relevant information we need, securely and simply.

STEP 4:

Analyzing Your Finances

We’ll take a deep dive into the goals you’ve laid out and analyze what needs to happen for you to achieve them. It’s our job to find the optimal balance of the many decisions you face. This means building necessary spreadsheets, modeling hypothetical scenarios in our financial planning software and collaborating with other professionals when necessary.

STEP 5:

Collaborating With You

Once we've built the framework to your entire financial life in a clear and understandable format, we’ll walk you through your finances as they currently stand, discuss recommendations based upon our findings, compare different courses of action and agree on which strategies to move forward.

STEP 6:

The Written Plan

You’ll receive a written plan that summarizes our advice in plain English, organized by topic, and with concise reasoning to support our findings. Throughout your plan you’ll find interactive links to calculations, tables and other supporting documents. It’s our intention to give you simple and to-the-point recommendations, but to also give you the ability to dig deeper to see exactly how we came up with our recommendations.

STEP 7:

Putting Your Plan in Motion

When it comes to implementing your plan, we’re as hands on as you want! If you’d like us to do the heavy lifting, we’ll work with you every step of the way. Or, we’ll give you an easy-to-follow guide if you prefer a more DIY approach.

Pricing

Big picture financial reviews are quoted as a flat price, based on expected hours, and typically cost between $3,600 and $5,400 (based on an anticipated 12 to 18 hours of work). Topic-specific advice and periodic check-ins are billed based on actual hours at a rate of $300 per hour.
